Our Mission
We are committed to protecting our seas, reducing marine pollution, and preserving a cleaner, healthier environment for future generations.
Marine Cleanup
Through our coastal and seabed cleanup efforts, we remove waste that has accumulated in marine environments.
Deniz Ekosistemi
We carry out sustainable conservation initiatives to protect the habitats of marine life.
Waste Awareness
We conduct awareness and educational programs to help reduce the amount of plastic waste entering the sea.
Community Awareness
We organize community education programs to raise awareness about marine conservation.
Marine Pollution Facts
Plastic pollution in our seas continues to increase every year. Protecting marine ecosystems and taking action for a sustainable future is no longer an option—it is a necessity.
11 Million Tons
Marine Debris
Millions of tons of plastic waste enter the world's oceans every year. This pollution directly impacts coastal ecosystems and marine life.
1M+ Marine Animals
Marine Life
Hundreds of thousands of marine animals die each year due to plastic pollution, disrupting the balance of marine ecosystems.
90% Detected
Microplastics
As plastics break down in the ocean, they become microplastics that enter the food chain and ultimately reach human life.
50% at Risk
Ecosystem Balance
Marine pollution causes lasting damage to coral reefs, seagrass meadows, and coastal habitats.
What Can We Do Together?
Reduce Plastic Use
Reduce your use of single-use plastics and help decrease the amount of waste that reaches our seas.
Join Cleanup Events
Take part in coastal and underwater cleanup initiatives to help protect marine ecosystems.
Raise Awareness
Raise awareness about marine pollution within your community and help build a more sustainable future.

About the Event
On 13 May 2026, Green Rangers joined forces with the Municipal Underwater Cleanup Team, the Bodrum Municipality Coastal Cleanup Unit, municipal sanitation teams, and the Baba Dostları Association for a seabed cleanup event in Yalıkavak.
In just 45 minutes, a team of 12 divers removed an impressive 2 tonnes of marine debris from the seabed. The recovered waste included more than 30 tires of various sizes, plastic bags, metal boat equipment and fragments, glass bottles, plastic bottles, beer cans, soft drink cans, large plastic water containers, jerrycan fragments, tarpaulins, floor mats, cleaning brooms, plastic cleaning containers, and many other types of marine litter.
Important Notice
The most concerning reality is that, despite all this effort, it is clear that there is at least twenty times more marine debris still lying on the seabed around Yalıkavak’s harbour and marina.
We have done our part, but much more cleanup is needed. However, no matter how many cleanup operations are carried out, we will never be able to remove it all if new waste continues to enter the sea.
The real solution is simple: prevent waste from reaching the ocean in the first place. By choosing not to litter and by ensuring that nothing is accidentally discarded into the sea, we can protect our marine ecosystems far more effectively than any cleanup effort alone.
