Our Projects
The seas are not only a natural heritage but also complex ecosystems that must be understood and protected. The projects carried out under EcoLegacy aim to bring together scientific knowledge production, conservation efforts, and public awareness.
Through these projects, we seek to better understand marine ecosystems, make sensitive habitats more visible, and raise awareness about sustainable use of the sea.
Below, you can find brief information about our work, which brings together different disciplines and approaches.

01
Project Posidonia
Posidonia oceanica meadows, one of the most valuable habitats in the Mediterranean, provide vital living space for countless marine species and play a critical role in maintaining the health of coastal ecosystems. Project Posidonia is an initiative that aims to highlight the ecological importance of these unique seagrass habitats, raise awareness for their protection, and make scientific knowledge accessible to wider audiences.
02
Reading the Blue
The sea is not only made up of visible life; it is also a complex system of ecological interactions and natural processes. The Reading the Blue project aims to make scientific knowledge about marine ecosystems more accessible.
Within the scope of this project, marine life, species, and ecosystem relationships are explored through different forms of storytelling, with the goal of strengthening our connection with nature.

03
Bodrum Underwater Park Project
The Bodrum Underwater Park Project is an initiative that aims to protect underwater natural and cultural heritage while also supporting sustainable diving tourism. The project offers an approach that contributes to marine conservation, enriches the diving experience, and highlights the value of underwater ecosystems.
04
Responsible Tables
Responsible Tables is an awareness initiative that promotes sustainable and responsible seafood consumption to help protect the future of our seas. This approach encourages choosing the right species, at the right time, and those caught using sustainable methods, thereby contributing to the conservation of marine ecosystems. In doing so, it supports marine biodiversity while also encouraging the continuity of traditional fishing practices in a sustainable way.
